Hey guys,

I have to find a certain mnemonic and therefore I am very limited with sentence construction.
So my question is, if the sentence 'Hey, I give a party honouring people.' is grammatically correct?

Yes, it's grammatical. But I'm sure you can do a bit better.

Why use the simple present tense? How often do you do it?
What has it got to do with mnemonic?

How about:

I am giving a party to honour xxx?

Do you have to find one, or do you have to invent one?

Hey guys, If you need to use a greeting, "Hello" suffices. We're not all male so please don't refer to us all as "guys".

I have to find a certain mnemonic and therefore I am very limited with sentence construction.
So my question is, if Is the sentence 'Hey, I give a party honouring people no full stop here' is grammatically correct?
Please note my comments and corrections above. We'll be able to help more when you respond to the question in post #4. As jutfrank said, you can come up with something better than that. Mnemonics need to be properly memorable (and sometimes funny).
