[Grammar] Is this sentence grammatical? "She is a housewife, isn't a teacher."

I know "She is a housewife, not a teacher." is okay.
But is "She is a housewife, isn't a teacher." grammatical?

Both the full stops I have marked in red above should be removed. Only use a full stop at the end of a quote if it is also the end of the surrounding sentence.
 
How do you know that? Many women are both.
I was just using this sentence as an example.
The sentence could also be "She is a police officer, not an accountant" and "She is a police officer, isn't an accountant".
 
Fair enough – that's a much better example. The answer's still No.
 
If you like isn't, you can say, "She's a police officer, she isn't a teacher."
