Although I am not a native speaker of English, I have some serious reservations about correctness of the above-mentioned sentence. In my opinion, the sentence should read as follows:
1. It is only after this hidden clearance has been accounted for that the correct bumping clearance will be found.
It would be a split sentence.
or
2. Only after this hidden clearance has been accounted for, will the correct bumping clearance be found.
It would be a case of inversion.
I may be wrong.
What do you think of the sentence under discussion?
