It's not this nor that.

Is it okay to use "not ... nor" structure, or is it necessarily should be "neither ... nor". I think I've seen somewhere "not ... nor"structure and occasionally use it, but whether it's correct I don't know. Is it?

It's not this or that.
It's neither this nor that.
 
You can use "not ... Nor" if the second phrase is an afterthought, or a new sentence.
"It's not that I don't like you. Nor is it that you smell like a ferret. It's just ..." You could possibly use 'Neither' instead of 'Nor', but you couldn't put 'Or' there. I'd use 'Nor'.

Alternatively, in the same context, you could say:
"It's not that I don't like you ... or [STRIKE]is it [/STRIKE]that you smell like a ferret. It's just ..."
 
It's the kind of thing you might hear in a conversation, but I wouldn't use it in writing.
