Hi teachers.

I went to the countryside recently. One day, I got up and saw fog and haze in the village, I couldn't see afar. It was covered with fog and haze. It's very beautiful. I wrote "It's vast and hazy in the distance".

Is my sentence natural?

Hi teachers.

What is vast and hazy?
You can say, "It was foggy and hazy" without a referent, just as in "It was raining". But if you say "It was covered in/with fog and haze" you have to say what "it" is.
You can say, 1 "It was hazy in the distance", but not 2 "It was vast in the distance". The second sentence requires a referent, for the same reason.
