Hello,

I recently got a job on a non-English speaking country and I am thinking of what I should put on my card in English.

Which of the following is correct/sounds better ?
- "Senior Innovation Engineer"
- "Senior Innovations Engineer"

I have the feeling that both are correct, but to me the 2nd sounds better. Would you agree?

Many thanks in advance

No. Use the singular.

I think it is for the same reason that you use the designation "design engineer".

The latter.

The latter.

Hello Mike, apologies for the question but I am not sure to which post you are replying. Are you saying that the plural (Innovations Engineer) sounds better?

No, I said the singular sounds better. Do you know what "the latter" means?

If I a not mistaken, the latter means the one that comes after, so the second in my case, which is the plural (not the singular, which would have been the former :-D)

So are you saying that the plural is wrong or that the singular sounds better?
It was referring to the latter part of your sentence above.
