Hello.

Are the following sentences grammatically correct?

"Joe gave the car model to his uncle, but it was broken, so in order to be repair it should be glued and painted again, also even in parts where the model was a single piece."

Thanks.

You've written a single sentence but it should be divided into at least two.

There is only one sentence and it's a mess.

Try again, using two sentences.

Change car model to model car.

This is my second attemp:

"After Kevin yelled at him, Joe gave the model car to his uncle. It was broken, so in order to be repaired it should be glued and painted again, even in parts where the model was a single piece."

Thanks.

This is my second attempt:

"After Kevin yelled at him, Joe gave the model car to his uncle. It was broken, so in order to be repaired, it [STRIKE]should[/STRIKE] needed to/had to be glued and painted again, even in parts where the model was a single piece."

Thanks.

See above. I don't understand the underlined part.

"Car model" sounds unnatural to my ear. It should be "model car".

That was pointed out in post #3 and the OP already used the better version in post #4. Please make sure you read all the responses before adding your own, to avoid unnecessary repetition. :)

Dear emsr2d2:

First of all, thanks for all your help and time.

"...even in parts where the model was a single piece"

A model car has big pieces to be painted and glued, for example the parachutes (front and back). When the nephew took the model, he break even the parachutes, converting it into two pieces, so when the uncle repairs the model, he will even glue the parachutes, because now they are 2 separate pieces, different from the original model car.

Thanks.

Parachutes? Do you mean these?

Dear tzfujimino:

Sorry it was my mistake

I mean bumper. Front and back bumper of the model car.
