I would, but the last sound I would pronounce as an /i:/ (as in the last sound in "city").

/i:/ is the vowel sound of sea.
/i/ is the final vowel sounf of city.

Okay now. I wonder where do you guys put stresses on?

My attempt: Kalpana Kalahasti [ka:l ˈpa:na: ka:la:ˈha:sti].

I am not absolutely sure whether it is acceptable.

Bear in mind that when English speakers encounter non-English names, they have to guess at the pronunciation (unless they happen to speak the relevant language).
I would put the stresses here:

Kalpana Kalahasti
