I did, because that meaning made sense. But actually I hear him clearly say the "is" (the first boldfaced "is" below) as "its" (I think it could be just a slip), because the second boldfaced "is" below he says in a normal way. Would you confirm that?

I've listened to it again and it still sounds like "why that is" to me. I'm not going to watch it a third time because I keep having to watch ads before it starts!
