"Making of" or just "Making"

I am involved in a cookbook project where I see some titles like "Making of the samosa" (an Indian dish) or "Making of the filling". Is this correct or is it better to write "Making the samosa" and "Making the filling".

I would say "Making Samosa". There is no need for the definite article unless you are talking about a specific type of samosa.

What is "the filling"? There are many types of fillings; do you mean samosa filling?

Yes, samosa filling. It is just a sub-heading in the Samosa recipe

I guess, as it applies to this specific samosa recipe, "Making the Samosa" (with 'the') should be ok.
