What is the difference between "don't plus verb", "not plus verb" and "no plus verb"?

I wrote the first two sentences.

1. Many employed people not exercise on the weekend.
2. Many employed people do not exercise on the weekend.
3. Many working people get little or no exercise either during the working day or in their free time, abd have health problems as a result.

Source.

I have never seen "no" followed by a verb as in sentence three. My intuition tells me that it used because it collocates with the verb "get".

Sentence 1 is wrong as it is without a verb.
"Exercise" is not a verb in Sentence 3. It is a noun modified by "no". The verb is "get".
