There are finite and non-finite verbs, but how can ı distinguish them.. In the book it is said that inflections like ing, ed make the verb finite..Is it true and can you give me examples of finite and non-finite sentences...thank you

I do not agree with the idea of finite and non-finite verbs. Finite verbs are real verbs. Non-finite verbs are verbals, infinitives and participles.

You are claiming that there are non-finite sentences. Why don't you give us an example of what you mean.
"How to write a non-finite sentence?" is possibly a non-finite non-sentence. I can't think of a non-finite sentence.
There are finite and non-finite verb forms. An infinitive, eg. "to walk" is a non-finite form; 'walk' is a finite form.

It is easy for me now to find the finites and non-finites in a sentence after reading the explainations in the website you posted.. Thé first verbs that come after the subject are mostly finite verbs and that is meant to be independent in a sentence..Thé finite verb is single and non-finites may be more than one..thank you..Besides, the question was taken from there as l saw the sentences that l asked.
