which sentnce is correct? (event date is 12th December 2019)


while checking the spread sheet, i have noticed the event date has already passed

or

while checking the spread sheet, i have noticed the event date is past

Capitalization and punctuation errors make both sentences incorrect.

Fix those errors and ask yourself which of these is correct:

The date has passed.

The date has past.

Your earlier threads show that you used to understand capitalisation and punctuation very well. What has happened in the last year and four months to make you forget all that?

"Passsed" is incorrect. The correct spelling is "passed". ;-)

The past participle and simple past of the verb pass are both passed. The word past can be a noun, adjective, adverb, or preposition but never a verb.
