Hello,

I have uploaded some pictures taken by me on Facebook. Should I say " These pictures were taken by me" or " these pictures are taken by me"?

Thanks

Yes I would use the past as it happened in the past

'I took these pictures' is simple past active voice

you want to use passive voice so it will become

'These pictures were taken by me'

I use the following example

'The dog bites me' present simple active becomes in the passive 'I am bitten by the dog'

'The dog bit me' past simple active in the passive becomes 'I was bitten by the dog'

Hello, davefretty.:)
Thank you for your contributions to the forum.

May I ask you to use correct punctuation?
I think it is essential that we teachers use correct English.

Thank you.
:)

I think it is a comma splice above, but I am not a teacher.
