Hello

I'm not sure if "children should place a high value on their parents" is OK? if not, Could you suggest any alternative(s) for it.

Thank you

It's too wordy. You could just say "Children should value their parents".

It's all far too vague. Life's too complicated for a one-size-fits-all statement like "Children should place a high value on their parents".

How old are the children we're talking about? What do you mean by 'value?'

Young children take their parents for granted, as they're entitled to; they didn't ask to be born.

Older children start to compare their parents with those of other children.

Adult children have their own lives to live, and will relate to their parents according to how they (the parents) have brought them up and what their current needs are.

A lot of parents don't earn the right to be to be valued/respected/honoured/loved.

As I say – it's all far too vague.
