Hi,

I am writing a letter to a friend of mine, I want to say you like something which reminds you some good times.
It reminds you some of your good times after school when you came to our house, instead of waiting for your mother to came after you.
which one is correct :
- instead of being kept wait
- instead of kept waiting
-your mother to came after you or come after you ?

many thanks in advance

instead of waiting for you mother to come.

But "come after you" sounds like she was chasing him.
Maybe "instead of waiting for your mother to pick you up" or something like that is what you mean?
