Can you help me with the difference (if any) between these two: prompt cards and cue cards?
I am looking for the name you give those index cards (usually not very large) in which you write some bullet points or most important words about your short talk/presentation in class, so that you can take a glimpse if you forget what you have to say.

I think both words are used for that, but I'd call them cue cards.

For me, prompt cards are the notes you give students to guide them in what to say in, say, a role-play activity.
