[Grammar] Reason vs Reasons

I don't think "reason" is the word you are looking for.

I don't find it particularly natural either. I'd go with something like "The boy would say anything to win an argument".

I made the sentence up in my head. It doesn't have a source-unless you count my mind as the source-or an author. The same goes for the other question I asked.

For example, start by saying something like 'I wrote the following sentence myself'.
