Hello,

Does "matured glory" work as a collocation? Imagine two people are talking about a tree which is young. One of them wants to suggest that this tree is more glorious when it is mature. Does this work?

This tree is only two years old. Come back here ten years from now to see it in all its matured glory.

If that doesn't work, what do you suggest?

I guess it's okay. I might like mature better.

But a twelve-year-old tree isn't very mature or matured, is it?

Maybe in Iran.

PS:

See the tree in its matured glory.

This doesn't answer your question but it might make the sentence better: "The tree is only two years old. Return in ten years to see its matured glory." We shaved off six unnecessary words. Better for your reader's ears.

If you ever get a chance, visit the redwood forests (in California). Awesome!
