Does the phrase the phrase in bold sound good? Could you improve a little this extract from the speech of the jury I am preparing for a language competition?

It was great to see you come up with all these wonderful ideas (and creative costumes). And the best part was seeing your inspired faces!

You should ask this question in the Other Languages forum, englishhobby.

What language is it, anyway? I don't recognise the script.

Inspired faces doesn't work for me.

There was something wrong with the font. I have changed it.

How would you express the idea that the children were very much inspired and enthusiastic about the language competition which I could "read" on their faces?

I am not a teacher.

'Inspired enthusiasm' doesn't work for me either. It's the children who are inspired and enthusiastic, so what shows on their faces must be nouns -inspiration and enthusisam-, not adjectives.

Inspired enthusiasm is a noun phrase.

Seeing you look so inspired would work better for me. Seeing the children's faces light up more so.

Englishhobby said that the children were inspired and enthusiastic about the competition. 'Inspired enthusiasm' doesn't have the same meaning, noun phrase or not.

May be this: It was great seeing your faces light up with inspiration (enthusasm) ?
