Does it work to say "someone melts into something in another person's arms"?

Is this okay?

She hugs me and in her arms I melt into a lion cub.

No. You could get by with saying someone melts in another's arms, but you can't melt into something else.
Is this okay?

She hugs me and I melt into her arms; I become a lion cub.

In that case, I have no idea why you'd feel like a lion cub. It doesn't mean anything to me.

@alpacinou Try: "She hugs me and I melt into her arms."

I'm pretty sure she didn't want to hug a lion cub. As for why you would want to become one, I have no idea.

Because she loves lion cubs a lot and she wishes I was one. 😅
