teacher, is this sentence OK?

Due to the short notice, Ms. Chan is unable to attend the meeting at 9:00 a.m. this Friday as she has already has plans that morning.

The beginning is fine, but not the end.

Due to the short notice, Ms. Chan is unable to attend the meeting at 9:00 a.m. this Friday as she already has plans for that morning.
 
It's fine for me without "for" before "that morning". Maybe it's only OK in BrE.

I have plans that day.
She has plans that morning.
