If I want to say that one who has great abilities of doing things (for example, master four foreign languages) and therefore he/she can survive in the world no matter where he/she is because he's capable of using the languages. Or if I want to say someone who's talented and is capable of doing things and therefore they can survive everywhere in the world.

Is it idiomatic to translate the intended meaning as "Sky is your only limit, if your skills are not limited".

Yes, if you add "The" in front.

The second part seems a bit negative. How about:

with your skills

With unlimited abilities, the sky's the limit on what you can do.
With unlimited abilities, nothing can hold you back.
With unlimited abilities, you will be unstoppable.
With unlimited abilities, the world is your oyster.

I think "unlimited abilities" is unrealistic. Passion and drive can be unlimited, but not abilities.

What about something like:

“The sky’s the limit when you’re so damn talented.”

“Nothing can hold you back when you’re as talented as you are.”

”Nothing can stop someone as capable and talented as you.”

Haven't you ever discovered an ability that you didn't know you had, or gone farther than you ever thought possible with an ability you did know you had?

Why foreclose on human potential? This isn't a grammatical matter, of course, but it's why you rejected my sentences. I stand by my recommendations.

Superman comes to my mind when talking about unlimited abilities.

Superman lacks the ability to do anything to me. I wear kryptonite underwear.

Poor Christopher Reeve. He would have turned 69 yesterday. Ultimately, he gave us a sad lesson in the kryptonite-like effect reality can sometimes have on people's abilities.

But he also gave us a lesson in what to do when something like that has happened to you.
