1- What are the differences between these adverbs?

2- Is it corect to say "I've been sometimes before." I tried to search the sentence on google enclosing it in quotation marks but no result.

1. Click here to see lots of examples of how these words/phrases are used in context. (When the red pop-up appears, click on the blue box on the right to remove it..)

2. Your sentence is not idiomatic. Find a better example.

Regarding the second sentence, why adverbs like "many times" and "few times" work fine after "I've been" but not "sometimes"?

I've been many times before.
I've been a few times before.

If someone asks "Is it your first time?", how to say sometimes? Is there another word for the same meaning?
