Hello everyone,

When someone says that something sounds conceded, what does it mean?

For example:

Let’s Glow Honey is a mobile and in-home spray tanning company. What I do is pretty straight forward – I give people spray tans (not the orange kind though). What makes me different from the rest and sets me apart is simple (and sounds conceded) but its me.

I am 26 years old and am in great shape. I know it sounds conceded but I look 21 and plan to stay looking young.

1 ADMIT SOMETHING IS TRUE [intransitive, transitive] to admit that something is true or correct, although you wish it were not true

I don't understand the phrase sounds conceded.
Does it mean that the person who is 26, but looks like she is 21 doesn't want to admit that she looks like she's 21 and admits that reluctantly?
The same goes for the first example - the person doesn't want to admit that what makes her different is her?

To me, "conceded" in "sounds conceded" implies something like "arrogant", but that doesn't correspond to the dictionary definition.
