Is this a homework assignment?

Hint: It would not be an error if it was said at a convention of twins.

my confusion is whether it would be none or neither of the twins??

If there are two twins, which is usually the case, it should be "neither". If there are many sets of twins, as with Barb's twin convention, it should be "none".

Thanks MikeNewyork,

one more doubt is the structure 'offered to help me' correct?? or it should have been offered me the help?

"Offered to help me" is correct.

'...offered to help me' or '...offered me any help.'
