In there any mistake in this original sentence that I have written:
- Stephen, having been trained by the national coach for a year, is ready to face his opponents.
I'm learning how to use different tenses etc.
I think my sentence sounds okay but I'm not sure about using "having been trained".
a) "having been trained" - is this a gerund passive? Is there such a thing?
b) Is it grammatically correct to write the sentence like this?
