A 'strip joint' is slang for an establishment where women* dance nude or partially nude on a stage in front of people for money.

Edit: It's called a 'strip' joint because the dancers begin with their clothing on and gradually remove (strip) their clothes as the dance progresses. Sometimes the dancers are referred to as 'strippers'.

*I imagine there are places where the dancers are male as well.
