What are some synonyms for walk?

For example, in this sentence, what can be used instead of walk?

Jane walked down the Oxford Street to go to her office.

I don't think you're looking for synonyms but rather verbs that are descriptive of the way she walked. Right?

I already know I can use verbs like "trudge" or "stumble" or "stride" but I'm looking for a verb to replace "walk" with that doesn't necessarily mean walk slowly or walk with difficulty. Something that would simply mean "walk".

Take your pick, but I wouldn't use a different verb for a routine walk to work.
I don't think you need a definite article with Oxford Street.

I think you could say the person went to work on foot. (Admittedly, that's not one word.)

If you're looking for a way to describe what direction she chose rather than what action she performed, you can always use "take [name of street]", though it doesn't have much to do with walk.

I don't get it. Why would you want to do that? Or think that's possible?

Remember that if you replace one word with another, you get a different meaning. If you just mean 'walk', then say walk.

Remember to mark out words you're asking us about in some way (I've used quotation marks above) - I'm sure you know this by now.
The definite article in front of "Oxford Street" was wrong.

As jutfrank said, if you replace "walk" with another word, you change the meaning. If you look up synonyms for "walk", they all express a particular way of walking, that "walk" doesn't suggest.
