Hi,

Which of the two options below is better? If none of them is good, could you please suggest a suitable phrasing?

1. The affected files list is included in file: ‘xyz.zip’, which is located in this Name of the database system record.

2. For the affected files list, see ‘xyz.zip’ (located in this Name of the database system record).

#1 is awkward, partly because it's more natural to open with "The list of affected files is ...".
#2 is OK.

Following your comment on #1, would you recommend rephrasing #2?
For the list of affected files, see ‘xyz.zip’ (located in this Name of the database system record).
instead of:
For the affected files list, see ‘xyz.zip’ (located in this Name of the database system record).
 
I'd use "For the list of affected files". With "For the affected files list", there's a possibility that readers might interpret it as "The affected + files list" (ie "the files list is affected").
