Would you please correct my mistakes in this short text?

The church that was razed to the ground in the Second World War is now completely rebuilt, thanks to the local businessman, who financed its construction. The idea came from his wife, who owns the painting of the old church. She believed it would be wonderful to bring back to life the 18th century building. Fortunately, the original architectural plans were saved in the local museum, and the builders were able to build it exactly as it once was. However, the primary function of the new building will be an art gallery and a cafe, where authors will read out their poems and stories.

If this is the first mention of that man, say "a local businessman who financed its reconstruction".

I presume that's not the only painting of it in the world.

Try that.
