Examples:
"He was like, about the same age as me, but like, I wasn't sure what he, like, wanted to do with me."
"A covalent bond is, like, when the atoms share electrons, right?"
In the UK, is used only to introduce a quote?
Examples:
He was, like, "Where are you going?"
So I was like, "duuuude" and he was all "baaaabe".
