Subtitle: silver was mainly prized for being the shinest of all metel

To me, the "of" part is pronounced [ev].

1. How is the "of" part pronounced to you?
2. Is it fine to pronounce the "of" part [ev]?

Does the voice-over seem to pronounce the "of" part /ev/ instead of /əv/.

I haven't changed my mind since post #2.

@GoldfishLord I listened to the recording. She pronounced it correctly. (No surprise there.)

In the pronunciation I am used to it rhymes with "love" and "dove".

What's the phonetic spelling of the sound of the "shinest of" part?
How does it sound to your ear?

Note the correct spelling of "shiniest".

To me, the "shinest of" part is pronounced /ˈʃaɪnɪəs tev/. I don't know why.

Simple. You are misunderstanding phonemic script.

The strong form is pronounced /ɒv/ (BrE), /ʌv/ or /ɑːv/ (AmE/; the weak form is pronounced /əv/, /ə/ or v/.

In your attachment, the vowel is /ə/, not /e/
