Hello.

How do I rephrase my sentence using the word ''side?'' I need to mention that the person I am talking about revealed the best aspects of her character of which I was not aware.

''Later I found out what a great person my tutor was.''
 
How about:

Later I found out that she was not just a great tutor, but a great person too.
 
Later I discovered another side of my tutor, that what a great person she was.
Or
Aside from being a great tutor, I discovered what a great person she was.
 
I wouldn't use 'that' in the first. Works for me. Or maybe, "also I discovered that what a great person she was".
The second suggests to me that you were the great tutor. I don't get any relationship to me, "she was".

No one. I just have to mention it in what I am writing about.

That still begs the question "Why?" If you say "I have to ...", there must be a reason for it.
