THEIR/THERE/THEY’RE
Their” shows possession, while “there” is a place, and “they’re” is a contraction of “they are.”
They’re heading over to their house, which is over there

Correct. What is the point of your post? Do you have a question for us?

Your example sentence indicates that you understand those homophones. (I would say there means in that direction.)

I just wanted to know if am correct. Someone is definitely going to correct me if their were any mistakes

Zedred, please don't just post text without making it clear what you want from us. Put an actual question or request in your post.

I just wanted to know if I am correct. Someone is definitely going to correct me if [STRIKE]their[/STRIKE] there [STRIKE]were[/STRIKE] are any mistakes.

You are not correct. To begin with, you have grossly oversimplified the use of 'there', plus you don't seem to understand your own lesson. Are you really sure you should be trying to teach this when you clearly don't understand it yourself?

There is quite a bit of information available on the internet about the homophones they're/their/there, but you might start by reading this.

Thanks, I loved it

Thanks. I loved it.

Please note my punctuation changes above. Remember to end every sentence with a closing punctuation mark. Note, for the future, that there is no need to write a new post to say "Thanks" to anyone. Simply click on the "Thank" button, as you already did.

And its/it's is worth checking out too.
