Hi.

Today when I was walking on the street a reporter came to me and interviewed me. He told me he's from CNN. He asked me some questions.

I wonder if it's natural to say "Today I was interviewed by a CNN reporter on the street".

Yes, that's fine. Did this really happen? It must have been interesting.

No, I imagined the situation. I usually imagine different situations and think about how to express those thoughts in English. CNN reporters are always seen in Beijing and perhaps Shanghai, but not in Chongqing. :-D

I had a quick look at Chongqing- the rock carvings are stunning. Maybe CNN should drop by.

I might change the word order to "Today, I was interviewed on the street by a CNN reporter". BrE might use "in the street" too.
I have changed the word order because the original could be taken to mean that the CNN reporter was on the street but you could have been anywhere. The interview could have taken place over the phone. I think my revised order makes it clearer that you were both in/on the street and it was a live, face-to-face interview.
