Is it 'to treat someone kind' or 'to treat someone kindly'?
I thought about Whitney Houston's famous song 'I will always love you' and she says 'I hope life treats you kind' therefore I am really interested if it's correct to say 'kindly' instead of 'kind'.

It should be kindly, as treat should be followed by an adverb.
Treat you well
Treat you kindly
Treat you nastily
Hope it helps.
