Uber Eats

-----------

I don't understand the use of "Eats" here. Is it a third-person singular verb, or a plural noun?

I assume that it is a plural noun, which means "the action 'eat' happens many times because you can order many kinds of food to eat". What do you think?

It's a plural noun meaning 'food', informally.

You might hear someone say "Shall we get some eats?", meaning "Shall we get some food?".

The plural also helps to emphasise the variety of choices and restaurants available through the service.
