Dear all,
I have questions about below sentences. I know the last one sounds more accurate, but couldn't understand the problem for the first two.
1. At the conference, it was neither my manager nor I who had the courage to admit our mistakes.
2. At the conference, it was neither my manager nor I had the courage to admit our mistakes.
3. At the conference, neither my manager nor I had the courage to admit our mistakes.
Also, the following three sentences. Are they all correct? If not, why?
1. Regarding the stolen money, it’s either you or James who stole it.
2. Regarding the stolen money, it’s neither you nor James who stole it.
3. Regarding the stolen money, it’s not you but James who stole it.
Thank you~~~
