Hello to everybody, I am a newbie here on this forum and this is my firs post.

Now, we have these two examples:

1. I do it as I am used to.
2. I do it (in) the way (that) I am used to.

What I want to express is that I do that particular thing because it is my habit.

I would personaly use only the other example. I tend to take the former example as follows: I do it because I am used to (as=because in this case)

So, I was wondering how do you see it from the perspective of English native speakers?
Is my consideration correct?

If you want to express this, "I do that particular thing because it is my habit." using "used to", say "I do it in the way that I am used to doing it".

2 works better than 1 for me, though it could be expressed better.
