Hi teachers.

I remember when I was young. My grandmother usually asked me and my cousin to clean the rubbish on the floor. And we had finished, we usually said "We've swept off the rubbish".

I wonder if it's natural to say so.

We've swept the floor.
We've swept up the rubbish.
 
No.

We've swept the floor.
We've swept up the rubbish.

OK, except for the term "rubbish", you would more likely hear/use "trash" in AmE.
