I need to know the various categories of words for my report.

By 'categories of words' do you mean such things as nouns, verbs, adjectives etc? Surely you know these - you give your native language as English.

I do not understand exactly what your report is about. Are you, for example, considering the usage of such expressions as 'puke', 'throw up', 'be sick' and 'vomit'?

What's the title of the report? If it's about formal/informal language, then it will probably be more about style/register, etc, rather than grammatical categories.

That's way too broad of a subject for a report.

You should probably be having a discussion with your actual teacher to find out what it is you are supposed to be writing about.
