What does "Cambridge bound" mean?

Hello!

"Captain of the soccer team, Editor of the annual, Cambridge-bound, Man most likely to do anything, Thigh man."

This is how Mr. Keating was described in his senior annual in the movie "Dead Poets Society".

I wonder what "Cambridge bound" means.

He could already have an offer of a place if he's that certain.
Do you mean he has an offer of Cambridge and he's about to go there?
 
We don't know for sure whether he has an offer or whether he's accepted the offer. We just know that the speaker believes he's going to Cambridge. It may even just be a prediction.

However, we might make a reasonable assumption from the context that he has accepted an offer.
