Hello All,
In the sentence:
1- what does 'take the class off your schedule 'mean ? and what does '444-UTEL' mean?
"M: Will I be dropped from a class if I simply stop attending?
W: Not necessarily. Some profs might, but others won’t.
M: So, how do I drop a class officially?
W: During the first two weeks of the semester, no official application is needed. Simply call 444-UTEL or log onto CasperWeb and take
the class off your schedule"

I can't find the matching meaning for take and off on the below dictionaries:

Please help,Thanks.

'Take off' means 'remove'.

It means remove the class from your timetable.

444-UTEL is a phone number: 444 8835 (the letters correspond to the numbers on the telephone keypad).
