What is an abstract noun and examples:-D

I am not a teacher.

An abstract noun is the name we give to something that is not material. It could be an idea or a quality for example. Greed, honesty, selfishness are all abstract nouns.

They are contrasted with concrete nouns which are things that exist physically. People, school, book.

If he's a student in the US, then we just did his homework for him.

Rats!:bad-word:

His native language is English. Take it easy then. And how did you get that he's a student in the US?

In the same way that we know you are a Russian-speaking student in the Russian Federation. We all have a personal profile. Click on my name, then on 'View Profile' and you will find out a little bit about me.

One reason we ask people to be honest in their profiles is that a knowledge of a member's occupation, native language and location may help us give a more helpful response to their questions.
