Hey, hope you guys are doing great.

I was watching a movie and a soldier said: I want all the suspects arrested in a one-hour window, We can not give them time to react.

Does "one hour window" mean in 1 hour or in no time?

I also searched the meaning of window: a period when there is an opportunity to do something.

Thank you in advance.

It is a period of time. Within a time period of 1 hour, he wants all suspects arrested.

Normally we would say "within a one-hour window".

Realize that the beginning of the window is not necessarily when the speaker speaks. He may have been planning an operation to arrest a group of drug dealers or something similar. The arrests may be planned for next week. Once they arrest the first person, they want all of them arrested within the same hour.
