Hello,

Where is "temporarily" supposed to be here, please:

-My car will be temporarily fixed for this afternoon.

-My car will temporarily be fixed for this afternoon.

Thanks a lot

Will

Neither is very natural, Will. Are you trying to say that you will make a temporary repair on your car so that you can use it this afternoon?

In fact, the mecanic will make a temporary repair. In this case, can I say "my car will temporarily be fixed" then?

Thank you for your help, Bhai.

"The mechanic will make a temporary repair so that I can use the car."

Being "temporarily fixed" isn't a very natural expression. We do refer to a "temporary repair" as you have done correctly. I would say:

The mechanic (note spelling) will make a temporary repair to my car this afternoon.
The mechanic will patch up my car this afternoon, but I will have to have it repaired properly at a later date.

I think the problem is that if you say your car is "fixed" that suggests that the repair was successful, not temporary.
