Grammar in english language is incomprehensible.

I can not figure out how 'deciding' is being used here? "The fame election management skill of the party came under stress with the party deciding to replace candidate Mr. X with Mr.Y as the candidate for contesting the election."

If it is incomprehensible, which language do you speak and what form would you use here? I am married to someone whose language doesn't use articles, or singular and plural who still struggles with these in a number of contexts.

How can a skill come under stress?

And it should probably be famed/famous- I don't think this is a good sample to work on.

Welcome, Deeps!

Grammar in the English language is incomprehensible

Your example doesn't look like a real quotation. Their names cannot be X and Y.

The sentence would be grammatical if it said famed and there were a comma after stress.

So check your quotation for accuracy, and tell us where you found the quotation. Then we can answer your question.
