At this resort, I will spend one month without being in contact with my annoying family.

Maybe it's just me, but something about this sentence seems off. Is it correct, or is there a better way of writing this?

So the fact that you moved it here means that it is at least grammatically correct?

There is nothing wrong with the sentence. It means he won't be around them (in contact with them).

It's grammatically correct but not very natural. I wouldn't use "without being in contact with". I'd use "with no contact with my annoying family" or "without any contact with my annoying family".

I just thought of something else: '... spend one month out of touch with...' Is this correct/natural?

I think it's fine.

I moved it to Editing & Writing Topics as it's your own writing which needs editing.

I assume it's your own writing as you didn't state the source and author of somebody else's writing.

It is not as strong as Emsr2d2's with no contact for me.
