Is there any word to describe when people use language which is disrespectful or unfriendly? More than language but to describe the particular word.

A: He is a liar.

B: Don't use disrespectful word like 'liar'. I am asking for a replacement of word 'disrespectful' here.

Is there [STRIKE]any[/STRIKE] a word to describe the situation when people use language which is disrespectful or unfriendly? More than language but to describe the particular word. The underlined sentence doesn't make sense. Please try to reword it.

A: He is a liar.
B: Don't use a disrespectful word like 'liar'.

I am asking for a replacement [STRIKE]of[/STRIKE] for the word 'disrespectful' here.

Please note my corrections (in red) and comment (in blue) above.

How about "pejorative"?

I am talking about an adjective of a particular word such as a bad word/ derogatory word/ impolite word.

When someone inadvertently gives wrong information and he was called a liar for it. Just to mention that there is no need to use a word like 'liar'.

My question is not just about word like 'Liar' but also like 'fraud', 'cheat' etc.

How about "damning label," one species of inflammatory language?

There is no need to use a damning label like 'liar,' 'fraud,' 'cheat,' etc.
